We are celebrating birthdays for Roman and Brock tomorrow so my first cake is for their birthdays. I would have to say that I am pleased for the first go around but I have so many ideas of things that I want to do!
Second time was much better - not perfect, but not a sloppy mess, either (thanks, Mom!).

So Cute!! Yeah!! I am just happy you have the talent. I would have been bugged the first time around and given up!! Good for you!
GREAT JOB, NAN!
The cake is almost too cute to eat!!! Happy Birthday Brock and Roman!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Roman!
I am jealous!! You are just so creative!! I love the cake... Happy birthday Roman and Brock!
We just happened upon your blog. It was fun to read all the happenings in your life. Little Roman is a cute kiddo!
So cute. Michaels sells some spray called cake release or something like that. It works perfect. You can spray it in your pan and you don't have to line it. Cake comes out great every time. Also, make sure you don't open the oven to soon or the cake will fall, and make sure you cook it long enough and that will help it not fall. Homemade cakes take so much longer. (Just thought I would pass along those tips) Seriously though, great job!!
I saw you on Dyana's blog... Cute cake. Your mom is the best! I didn't know that Emily and Marjorie were having babies- fun!
Nanette, I don't have a clue how I stumbled on your blog tonight but here I am. You were our loan officer for our Stansbury and now our Kaysville house. I was friends with Marjorie at good ol' Eastmont. I clicked her name but it didn't take me to her blog. What is her blog. I'd love to see what she's up to.
